Meet Cindy
Cindy is a mom, small business owner, and community leader. She moved to Omaha over 30 years ago for our great public schools, affordable lifestyle, and thriving business community. She built a career in human resources and recruitment, and started a family with her husband, Fred. Now, the two run a small insurance and financial services business and remain involved in the community. Cindy is the president of Better Ballots Nebraska, on the board of Nonpartisan Nebraska, and volunteers with various organizations such as the Food Bank for the Heartland.
As a working mother who started her own business, Cindy understands the challenges families are facing from rising costs and skyrocketing property taxes, to limited access to affordable childcare and healthcare. As a lifelong independent, Cindy will stand up to – and work with – both Republicans and Democrats for the rights and wellbeing of Nebraska’s families and communities. She is committed to tackling the daily concerns our politicians are ignoring in order to build a Nebraska where everyone can afford to chase their dreams.
